With the help of np.hermtrim()
method, we can trim the trailing values in a series of hermite coefficients by using np.hermtrim()
method.
Syntax : np.hermtrim(series, tol)
Return : Return the coefficients of series after trimming.
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using np.hermtrim()
method, we are able to get the trimmed hermite series by using this method.
import numpy as np
from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermtrim
series = np.array([ 2 , 0 , 4 , 0 , 6 , 1 , 1 , 1 ])
gfg = hermtrim(series, tol = 1 )
print (gfg)
|
Output :
[2. 0. 4. 0. 6.]
Example #2 :
import numpy as np
from numpy.polynomial.hermite import hermtrim
series = np.array([ 1 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 , 0 ])
gfg = hermtrim(series, tol = 0 )
print (gfg)
|
Output :
[1.]
