Zendesk Interview Experience for Internship

Round 1 (Phone Interview): A Zoom call with the recruiter coordinator, describing the process of hiring, the number of rounds, potential joining team description, and normal HR questions like-

• Tell me about yourself.
• Why do you want to join Zendesk?
• Any questions for me?

Round 2 (Technical Interview): I thought I was rejected in the phone interview itself because they told me that it would be conducted in a week and it wasn’t. But then it was conducted over 2 weeks. Quick Tip: The recruiter coordinator will tell you that the interview will be non-technical, but it will be technical. The question asked were

• Tell me about yourself.
• Why is Java used?
• Types of data structures
• Tell me about some algorithms.
• Object-oriented, 4 pillars
• About ReactJS
• APIs and REST APIs like POST, GET
• Some behavioral questions: what will you do if you get 2 weeks’ work to be completed in 1 week? 
• What if you’ve got 80% of bugs in your code? Have you been part of a team?
• Angular vs. ReactJS
• What is a functional programming language and a type-safe language?

And then they closed the position.
