One of the most popular Prime Video series released in 2022, The Terminal List managed to receive tons of appreciation from audiences across the globe! We couldn’t help but get excited when the show’s main lead Chris Pratt hinted about the upcoming season 2 of the series. “The Terminal List,” released on July 1, 2022, centers around the hardships faced by Navy SEAL James Reece, who comes back home after his entire platoon is tragically wiped out in an ambush.

This series offers a thrilling tale of revenge, infused with elements of psychological drama, making it an intriguing watch. Notably, the series features an exceptional ensemble cast, adding to its allure and promising an engaging viewing experience.

 The Terminal List

The film is a conspiracy thriller drama film that is an adaptation of the 2018 New York Times best-selling novel by Jack Carr which goes by the same name. The film is based on a revenge murder story of the protagonist James Reece portrayed by the renowned actor Chris Pratt. The story revolves around a Navy SEAL who sets out on a revenge mission after he finds out about a conspiracy that caused the murders of his entire platoon followed by his wife and daughter. The series consists of 8 one hour long episodes full of action, mysteries, and a shocking turn of events.

Chris Pratt as James Reece

The talented actor plays the role of James Reece, the protagonist of the series” The Terminal List”. With his portrayal in the series, Pratt has set out to deliver one of the best performances of his career.

Pratt plays the role of James Reece, a stiff and powerful lieutenant Commander, a US Navy SEAL who is a sole survivor of a brutal tragedy while on a secret mission with his platoon. When he returns home, he figures out a conspiracy going around that involves US government officials. He sets out on a mission to seek revenge from those involved in the conspiracy and prepares a “terminal list” to eliminate them all.

Taylor Kitsch as Ben Edwards

Taylor Kitsch is fairly recognized for playing crucial roles in “Lone Survivor, John Carter, True Detective Season 2“, and several other films and shows. Since he has played the role of a Navy SEAL in his earlier shows as well, portraying a similar role in the series is something that he has aced.

In The Terminal List, Taylor plays the role of Ben Edwards who is a former Navy SEAL and a close friend of James Reece. Ben Edwards who now works for the CIA, significantly helps Reece throughout to carry out his revenge mission but ends up losing his life at the end of season 1.

Constance Wu as Katie Buranek

Playing the role of a war correspondent called Katie Buranek, Constance Wu has wowed the audience with her performance in the series. The actress is mostly known for her roles in “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Fresh Off The Boat” and “Hustlers”.

Wu plays a determined journalist Katie Buranek who anyhow ends up getting involved in the James Reece revenge story. She is a headstrong reporter who quits her job and opts to assist James to find out the actual truth and the real culprits behind the death of his entire platoon as well as his family.

Jai Courtney as Steve Horn

Jai Courtney is a popular actor known for his prominent roles in the “Suicide Squad, Spartacus, A Good Day To Die Hard, and a few others.

Jai plays the role of Steve Horn, the CEO of a global fund firm, Capstone Industries, that deals with everything concerned with pharmaceuticals and military technology. Steve ends up meddling with James due to his involvement in an experimental drug RD4895 case.

Riley Keough as Lauren Reece

Riley Keough is the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and is known for her role in the series, “The Girlfriend Experience” which also earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Her other notable works include “The Devil All The Time”, “The Runaways”, and “Magic Mike”.

Riley Keough plays the role of James Reece’s wife Lauren Reece in the series. Lauren is a considerate woman who takes care of the family of his husband’s platoon while they are away on the mission. After her husband returns with a fractured leg, Lauren serves as a constant support to James to get through the difficult times together while also taking care of her daughter Lucy.
