Class 12th Science Study Tips

Many Class 12th Science students seek study tips from their parents, teachers, friends and seniors. These tips can be a game changer for students, as they provide them with hidden and necessary details about the examination that they were not aware of. So, for your benefit and better exam preparation, we will provide you with some of the best study tips which you can implement for your Class 12th Science study preparation.

Organise Your Studies

Before starting your exam preparation, organise your studies by making a study plan according to the exam syllabus, timetable and your overall understanding of the exam.

Make a List of All Important Chapters and Topics

Once you have gone through the exam syllabus, your next step is to make a list of all the important chapters and topics. Try to give more preference to topics with maximum weightage. In Physics, some of the most important and high-weightage chapters are Electrostatics, Optics, Current Electricity, and Electromagnetic Waves.

Make short Notes

You might not memorise concepts, formulas and equations in a single try. To make your understanding stronger, make short notes of all important equations and formulas and go through them repetitively. Your mind will create a pattern and it will become easier for you to understand all the equations and formulas if you read them repetitively.

Practice Rote Learning

Rote learning is a great practice to remember longer answers and complex formulas. While preparing for an exam there is so much pressure on us that we often forget what we studied previously. To better remember things you can rote learn them by giving some extra time each day.

Solve Mocks, Sampler Papers and Question Papers

Once you have reached halfway through your exam preparation, now it is time for you to solve mock tests, sample papers and previous year’s question papers. Solving these tests and papers will allow you to understand the exam pattern and structure in a better way, adapt to the real exam environment and understand your preparation level.

Daily Revision

Revision is the key to every exam preparation. Your exam preparation is never complete without a thorough revision. Go through all the topics and subtopics that you have covered throughout your exam period to remember them for a longer duration.
