In 2023, I was fortunate enough to be interviewed for Siemens PGET as part of an on-campus recruitment initiative. The air was abuzz with excitement and the members of the Siemens team appeared truly invested in identifying ideal individuals for their Power Generation and Energy Transmission scheme. Beforehand, readying oneself. Before the interview, I absorbed myself in Siemens’ principles and latest strides in generating power. Familiarizing myself with their determination towards eco-friendliness and creative thinking was pivotal while anticipating probable inquiries.

Round of Technical Questions:

During the technical round, I had to demonstrate my knowledge of power systems and renewable energy. A complex grid optimization issue was presented as a difficult problem which allowed me to display both my ability for theoretical comprehension and efficient critical thinking skills. The interviewers were attentive, gladly engaging in conversation with me about how I approached solving such problems effectively.

Round of Behavioral Questions:

During the behavioural round, my compatibility with Siemens’ values was evaluated along with how I handle practical obstacles. My involvement in group projects and approach towards teamwork and novel ideas were discussed extensively as well. The interviewers displayed a cordial attitude which helped me communicate comfortably about my career progression journey.

Human Resources Round:

Participating in the HR round allowed me to delve into my career ambitions and gain insight into Siemens’ organizational culture. I was grateful for how heavily they emphasized futuristic objectives, as well as their commitment towards continual self-improvement and proficiency enhancement.

In conclusion,The Siemens PGET interview process was more than just a technical skills display, it also involved determining compatibility between personal values and company objectives. Though difficult at times, the experience provided valuable insight into the innovative power generation and energy transmission work being conducted by Siemens.
