Scala Short toDouble() method

Short, a 16-bit signed integer (equivalent to Java’s short primitive type) is a subtype of scala.AnyVal. The toDouble() method is utilized to convert the specified number into Double datatype value.
Method Definition: (Number).toDouble
Return Type: It returns converted Double value.
Example #1:

def main(args : Array[String])
{
val result = ( 13 ).toDouble
println(result)
}
}

13.0
