Scala Double %(x: Byte) method

In Scala, Double is a 64-bit floating point number, which is equivalent to Java’s double primitive type. The %(x: Byte) method is utilized to return the remainder when the given Double value is divided by the Byte value.
Method Definition – def %(x: Byte)
Returns – Returns the remainder of the division of this value by x.
Example #1:

{
val result = ( 16.01255 .toDouble ). % ( 2 ^ 4 : Byte)
println(result)
}
