Ruby | String codepoints Method

codepoints is a String class method in Ruby which is used to return an array of the Integer ordinals of the characters in str.

Syntax: str.codepoints

Parameters: Here, str is the given string.

Returns: An array of the Integer ordinals of the characters in str.
