Ruby Integer integer? function with example

The integer? function in Ruby returns a boolean value. It returns true if the number is an int, else it returns false.
Syntax: number.integer?
Parameter: The function takes the integer which is to be checked for int or not.
Return Value: The function returns a boolean value which determines if the value is int or not.
Example #1:
num1 = 22
num2 = 15 . 555
num3 = 19 . 978
num4 = 20
puts num1.integer?
puts num2.integer?
puts num3.integer?
puts num4.integer?

Output:
true
false
false
true
Example #2::
num1 = 89 . 76
num2 = - 100
num3 = 100
num4 = 29 . 78
puts num1.integer?
puts num2.integer?
puts num3.integer?
puts num4.integer?
