Python | Numpy matrix.put()

With the help of Numpy matrix.put() method, we can put the value by passing index and value in a given matrix.

Syntax : matrix.put(index, value)

Example #1 :
In this example we can see that we are able to put the value from in given matrix with the help of method matrix.put().




# import the important module in python
import numpy as np
          
# make matrix with numpy
gfg = np.matrix('[64, 1; 12, 3]')
          
# applying matrix.put() method
gfg.put((0, 1), 45)
    
print(gfg)
Output:
[[45 45]
 [12  3]]

Example #2 :




# import the important module in python
import numpy as np
          
# make a matrix with numpy
gfg = np.matrix('[1, 2, 3; 4, 5, 6; 7, 8, -9]')
          
# applying matrix.put() method
gfg.put(2, 43)
    
print(gfg)
Output:
[[ 1  2 43]
 [ 4  5  6]
 [ 7  8 -9]]
