Punjab Engineering College

Hi, I am Lovepreet Singh from Punjab. Currently, I am a student at a renowned institute in north India, Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. Here my Branch is Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. There is nothing wrong with a branch or the college. but it was the situation when my college started. As I prepared for JEE and got this college on the basis of my JEE score. but COVID-19 affected my preparation also. The admission process was fully online and conducted through JOSSA. but the main problem started after the college started during COVID-19.

Actually when my college started in 2020 during covid period. Everything was closed. but our college started online classes. However, I was not aware of online classes because I didn’t have a laptop. So I missed most of the experience of exploration and networking with others. it also affected my grades. online study was not the only reason for my grades. but after taking online classes we had to go to the college for offline exams.

At the end of my second year, college opened and I also went to college. but it was almost the end of the semester so I didn’t explore much after that during the fifth sem I started exploring. but it took me so long to learn about my interests and I was not prepared for the internship session during the seventh sem. but finally, I got an offer for an internship on campus.
