The Gmagick::setfilename() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to set the filename before you read or write the image.

Syntax:

Gmagick Gmagick::setfilename( string $filename )

Parameters: This function accepts a single parameter $filename which holds the filename.

Return Value: This function returns Gmagick object on success.

Exceptions: This function throws GmagickException on error.

Below given programs illustrate the Gmagick::setfilename() function in PHP:

// Create a new Gmagick object
$gmagick = new Gmagick('geeksforgeeks.png');
  
// Set the filename
$gmagick->setfilename('Filename_1.png');
  
// Get the filename
$name = $gmagick->getfilename();

This will save the image geeksforgeeks.png as Filename_1.png on the same folder.
