Oasis Infobyte Interview Experience for Graphic Designer

In the first year of my B. Tech journey, with ample time available, I became interested in Graphic Designing. What started as my passion turned into an internship experience when I came to know about Oasis Infobyte’s Graphic Design Internship from a senior in my college.

Oasis Infobyte is a SaaS company that offers internships in various domains to students ranging from Web Development, Java, Graphic Design, etc.

The application process was pretty simple, and I had to just fill out a form on its official website where I had to submit my contact details, educational qualification, and the domain I am interested in. Later, I was given a selection certificate. All the internships available on Oasis Infobyte are of 4 weeks each, in which the interns are provided with some tasks, and those who complete all the tasks successfully are awarded the Internship completion certificate.

I received 4 tasks in this internship:

1. Poster Design– I had to design an attractive poster for a music event. The challenge was to keep the poster vibrant as well as elegant. I experimented with various designs and color combinations and finally nailed it.
2. Logo Design– My next task was to design a logo for a sophisticated clothing store. On the basis of the information provided, I designed a log while focusing on the sophistication part.
3. Business Card Design– The next task was to design a business card for the same clothing store, which I managed to complete by using the right color palette.
4. Magazine Cover Design– My final task was to design a magazine cover to gain the reader’s attention towards it and increase its popularity.

After completing all the tasks, I was provided with the completion certificate. While it was an unpaid internship, it managed to boost my confidence and trained me to design better and for that I will be forever grateful.
