numpy.defchararray.decode() in Python

numpy.core.defchararray.decode(arr, encoding): This numpy function decode the string(object) based on the specified codec.

Parameters:
arr : array-like or string.
encoding : [str] Name of codec being followed.
error : Specifying how to handle error.
