Node.js GM thumbnail() Function

The thumbnail() function is an inbuilt function in the GraphicsMagick library which is used to make the thumbnail image of the given image. The function returns the true value on success.
Syntax:  

thumbnail( x, y )

Parameters: This function accepts two parameters as mentioned above and described below:  

  • x: This parameter is used to specify width of the thumbnail image.
  • y: This parameter is used to specify height of the thumbnail image.

Return Value: This function returns the GraphicsMagick object.

var gm = require('gm');
  
// Import the image
gm('1.png')
  
// Invoke thumbnail function x, y as 300, 200
.thumbnail(300, 200)
  
// Process and Write the image
