ALLEN Career Institute excels in preparing students for the rigorous JEE and NEET exams with a meticulous approach. Their distinguished faculty, comprehensive study materials, and regular testing ensure students grasp complex concepts and hone their exam-taking skills effectively. Additionally, ALLEN’s robust distance learning program extends its reach nationwide, providing quality education and support to students regardless of location. With a proven track record of producing top rankers, ALLEN remains a beacon of excellence in entrance exam preparation.

The first leap

So I vividly remembered after my class 10 that I wanted to try for NEET. For those who don’t know, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a crucial exam in India for aspiring medical professionals. Conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and other allied health science courses across the country. The paper is 3 hours long and comprises three sections – Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It was the time of the Covid pandemic as well so I decided to research a couple of programs and the most compatible DLP (Distance Learning Program) one can opt for after class 10 will be the Nurture + Enthusiast course. So the courses are combined to make a complete package. As you can say Nurture covers class 11 and Enthusiast covers class 12. Each course had two instalments for money transfers for fees.

Overview of Course Structure

So in both these courses, the institute gave us the modules as well as practice papers. Physics and Chemistry have 6-8 modules each whereas Chemistry was divided into Physical, organic and Inorganic modules. Biology being the superior subject in terms of several questions asked had more than 10 modules. Apart from that, we got handbooks as well as question banks. The classes were conducted from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the ALLEN digital app with us having our candidate/enrollment ID. There were 3 classes each of 2 hours. This went on six days a week and Sundays as holidays.

Overview of classes

The classes were super interactive despite being in online mode with our faculties eager to share every doubt we had at the end of the classes. The topics and concepts felt fluid. The modules and materials provided by the institute were more than notes so it would save you time. Just don’t waste making notes in between classes. You can practice and write while solving papers or going through modules at night. There were periodic tests once every month till where the concepts were taught that month in all three subjects in a particular NEET framework with three hours to complete it in online mode. These tests increased to 6-7 tests in a month towards the end when we peaked in our syllabus. The handbook pretty much was framed in such a way as to handle 90% of your doubts.

Learning Map

Talking about the learning curve at ALLEN Career Institute is designed to be steep yet manageable, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students when it comes to exams like JEE and NEET especially. The thing is these periodic tests and class topics clarity will help you in the later phase towards the end when you won’t panic seeing the actual paper because you already have the taste. However one needs to heavily invest their time towards night. Sleep 5-6 hours, walk every day at least half an hour outside, no games or entertainment stuff because exams like these require sacrifice, blood, and thirst. Follow RUE (Read, Understand, Elaborate). Don’t run on writing stuff blindly, cover the core topics first. Write about the topic and look for what important points you missed. Keep track of Question banks as well.

Mentorship Quality

When it comes to every single faculty that taught us notable I had some of the best like Jeetu Sir, AJ Sir, AS Sir and many more. Whenever they explained a certain topic be it any subject, it felt like they had injected life into those topics. You could either wonder at their explanation or just focus and study keeping in mind what their Expert take or Key Point or Guru-Mantra to remember at times of exams. They were like our mentors, elder brothers, typically a family. Just keep doing the assignments given on time and follow whatever the faculty asks you to and you’ll be fine.

Overall Experience & Feedback

So despite all these facilities one needs to avail, one should keep in mind you need to invest a lot not only here but when it comes to any institute nowadays. Money, Time, Brain, Emotions, Sweat, Hard Work, and whatnot! Well as a matter of fact I missed my chances of NEET by the barest of margins just falling short of 8 marks than the cut-off for a government college. But in these two years, I enjoyed a lot of what it’s like in the world outside, the competition. I scored pretty well in JEE Mains though and got selected in one of the best engineering colleges. But the thing is if you want to do something make sure you learn and get the most from it be it even negligible learning also. Invest money, time and brain wisely as I already said. Overall the DLP was pretty good, didn’t get any goodies though or a chance to meet the faculty. Also, some people who don’t reside in a proper network establishment might face problems. Rest it was pretty good. Lots of memories, lots of learning. I just want to appreciate my parents and faculties who supported me in every walk of life and told me to listen to my heart. Overall this DLP was my first ever and closer to heart so it’ll always be special and on a scale of 10, I would rate it 8.5.
