The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has initiated the online admission application process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024. The official information bulletin was published by the examination authority on January 10, 2024. Interested candidates can register for the entrance exam at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The deadline for completing the KCET Registration Form is February 10, 2024, until 11:59 pm.
The KCET exam 2024 dates is revised due to a clash with the National Defence Academy (NDA) exams. As per the updated timetable, the KCET exam 2024 is now scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2024.
Earlier, KCET exam 2024 was scheduled to be conducted on April 20 & 21. KCET 2024 Kannada language exam will be conducted on April 20.

It is a common entrance exam for admission to Engineering, Yoga and naturopathy, Architecture, Veterinary, Farm Science, B.Pharma, and other professional courses. KCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for KCET exam, candidates should satisfy the below-given eligibility terms
- Candidates should have qualified the 2nd PUC / 12th standard board exams.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible to appear for the exam
- Applicants should have a Karnataka domicile.
- Candidates who have completed 7 years of education from Karnataka including Class 11 and 12 are eligible to appear for the exam.

- Scanned image of colored photograph with white background. The size should not exceed 5 to 40 KB.
- Scanned image of signature with the size limit from 5 to 40 KB.
- Scanned image of left thumb immpression with the size limit from 5 to 40 KB.
- All the said images should be uploaded in jpeg or .jpg format.

KCET 2024 Admit Card
Only candidates who submit the KCET application form correctly within the limited time frame will be able to download the Karnataka CET admit card. The admit card of KCET exam 2024 will be released by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in the month of May 2024.

KCET 2024 Answer Key
Within a week of the exam conclusion, KEA will release the answer key. The answer key will contain the correct answers to all the questions asked in the exam. Initially the exam authorities will release the provisional answer key that candidates can challenge in case of incorrect answers. The KCET exam 2024 answer key is expected to be released in May 2024. With the help of the answer key, candidates will be able to calculate their scores before the result declaration.
KCET 2024 Result
Candidates appearing for KCET exam 2024 should have their login credentials to check the results. KCET result will be declared in online mode in the month of June. The result of KCET 2024 will contain the candidate’s scores and rank based on which final allotment will be done.

KCET 2024 Cut-Off Marks
The cut-off marks of KCET 2024 will be released as the opening and closing rank. Students will be able to check the streamwise cut-off for all colleges in the cut off. The cut off list will be released category-wise.
KCET 2024 Counselling & Seat Allotment
Based on the rank obtained in KCET exam, candidates will get the admission to the colleges of Karnataka. The process of allocating colleges is referred to as counselling. Candidates have to register separately for the KCET counselling procedure. After successful registration, candidates must fill in the choices of colleges and streams. The college and stream will be allotted through a computerised system based on rank. This process is called seat allotment.
Various online portals have created the KCET college predictor tool to help students know which college they will get based on their scores. After analysis the seat allotment results, this college predictor is created. Lastly, candidates need to pay the admission fee if satisfied by the college and seat.
