2. Diploma Course in Engineering:
- Three years degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, Information Technology).
- The diploma have to be from a Government recognized Polytechnic institute.
- 50% marks in aggregate in the diploma direction.
- 50% marks in English within the degree path (or in Intermediate/Matriculation).

3. Vocational Course:
- Two years vocational course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Maths.
- The State Education Boards/Councils in collaboration with COBSE.
- 50% marks in mixture in the vocational course.
- 50% marks in English within the vocational direction (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English isn’t a topic inside the Vocational Course).

Phase 1: Online Test
