IGNOU Admission Experience For BSC

There are two types of BSC courses at IGNOU :

BSC GENERAL

IN BSC general, there are a total of 5 subjects, 3 are compulsory 2 are options that change every year, and 3 subjects you have throughout the graduation period.

You can’t change subjects once you are admitted to the course if you think this is not for you, you have only two options, the first one is to cancel the course and get your money back, the second one is just to take admission to another course.

There is one main subject that will be most important for you because when you graduate this subject will be printed on the degree subject. e.g, I graduated with BSC MATHS from IGNOU, I have 5 subjects which main one being maths others are physics, geography, and optional subjects (There are many optional subjects while choosing subjects ).

BSC HONOURS :

In BSC HONOURS there is only one subject you have to study throughout the graduation e.g., BSC Maths HONOURS, you have to study one particular subject throughout the graduation. It will be written on your degree also

For Study Materials :

You will have two options for study materials, first is PDF Files and the Second is Physical Study Materials

• In pdf format, you have to download e-books from ignou website and when you opt for pdf format, you will get a discount on admission pricing also.
• When you opt for physical study materials, you will get books at your home by post but in most cases you will get books very late, many times you don’t get them.
• You have also an option to get study materials by yourself at HQ, just go to HQ with a student ID and get it, you don’t have to pay for it, you already paid for it.
