STEPS I took for getting admission to ICEM

  1. Applied for AICTE CET (This is a common entrance exam conducted every year by AICTE). generally gets conducted every year in January.
  2. The exam was mainly on Quantitative, English, and aptitude.
  3. The results of the above were declared in 3 to 4 months. I got 75 percentile., and yeah it was a negative marking.
  4. Once our results were out, filled a form where you can give choices for colleges you like., by looking at their cut-off list.
  5. In a few days, the 1st list was out in a few days, and if you like the college you got allotted you can opt to take admission or opt for 2nd round. so had no option but to take admitted to the college I got on the 1st list and yeah you must have guessed it by now by the title, the college was ICEM. the reason to take admission here was not by choice but by elimination. as other colleges had huge fees, and this college had only 1L (when I was taking admission, don’t blame me if its more than this now 😛 )
  6. Visited the college, met the faculty, and I had my decision in my mind, to fix the admission. so I submitted the documents, paid admission fees 10k. and got my seat reserved.
  7. In a few days, I had to submit the remaining documents and pending fees. and I did.

also, rem, they charge extra for uniforms and any other events.

overall my experience for admission was pretty good. can’t say the same for my later experience while completing my education.

About the teaching staff :

At the time of admission, the staff seemed very well and well-educated. but am turned out that am bad at guessing people in my first meeting.
