nrow() function in R Language is used to return the number of rows of the specified matrix.
 

Syntax: nrow(x)
Parameters: 
x: matrix, vector, array or data frame 
 

Example 1:

# Calling nrow() function to
# get the number of rows
nrow(BOD)
