Round-1

The first round comprised of 60 MCQ questions including aptitude, reasoning and English.

Suggestion- The question paper was not tough but it was lengthy. If you have a good knowledge of some basic concepts of Time and Work, Speed Distance, LCM and HCF, Pipes and Cisterns, Simple Interest, and Compound Interest, it will be easy for you. There will be some basic questions in the English section which will check your grammatical knowledge and error correction. The easiest part was reasoning, I seriously suggest you all go through the questions related to puzzles.

This is an elimination round.

Tips- Don’t spend too much time on specific questions if you are not able to do it on the first attempt.

Round-2

The second round is Technical Interview which lasts for about 40-45 minutes.

Suggestion- If you are from a Computer Science background, then don’t expect questions related to programming languages like Java, and SQL. This is not the demand of the company. Ericsson mainly focuses on students from ECE backgrounds because it is a telecommunication company so no questions from programming languages. But they will ask questions from Computer Networks, they told me to design the OSI Model and ask questions from the OSI Model. Then they continuously ask questions from Computer Networks for 20-25 minutes which include what the is Router, the Difference between a Switch and Hub, What the is Repeater, the Full form of LTE, why the demand for 5G increasing, etc. However, in the last, they asked questions on Bubble Sort just because I am from a CS background. After that, they asked what is AI, What is the future of AI, and What are neural networks, and deep learning.

This is also an elimination round.

Tips– Go through computer networks thoroughly, and read all the interview questions related to Computer Networks.

Round-3

The third round is the HR Round which lasts for 10-15 minutes.

Suggestion- They will ask simple behavioural questions, nothing more than that. If you are selected for the technical round then it is definite that you will be selected for the HR Round too.

Tips: Know yourself before any interview. Be calm, and patient and answer politely.
