The whole process at DXC Technology comprised two rounds:

  • Written Test
  • Technical Interview and HR round were combined

The company came around July 2022.

Round-1:

It was a coding and aptitude round for which the time allotted was one hour and forty minutes. The questions were from fundamentals taught to computer science engineering students and aptitude. There were no separate coding questions, instead, 2-3 MCQ-based pseudo-code questions were given. Furthermore, the test had no negative marking which was definitely an edge. However, as the test did not have coding, which usually carries great weightage, performing exceptionally was really important as it was an elimination round. Switching between questions was not allowed, so answering correctly in a well-divided time frame was also a notable factor. The main areas from where most of the questions were asked were:

Round-2:

The technical interview and HR interview were combined. This round was not the same for all. My interview lasted for nearly 45-55 minutes which was way too much compared to others from my batch. For me, ninety percent of the interview revolved around technical aspects and the rest were HR questions which were surprisingly opposite to what others were interviewed on. With a normal introduction part, my interview started. Then, technical questions asked include:

  • Explaining the project
  • Few questions on the project and teamwork
  • Converting 4-5 C++ codes into Python which was subjective as I mentioned Python in my resume
  • Three easy-level coding questions with sharing the screen, of which I coded all.
  • 6-7 questions on Python of which I answered 5 correctly
  • Few questions from stack and queue

Then, the HR questions were primarily based on the non-technical skills I mentioned in my resume. Some of the questions include:

  • Why DXC Technology
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses
  • Consider a situation where you are working on a team project and one of the members is not satisfied with your approach, how will you convince him
  • Have you put your artwork somewhere (after watching a few of my paintings on the wall behind me)
  • What kind of artwork do you know?
  • Looking at my achievements in debates and similar things he asked a few questions
  • At last, the interviewer asked a question which when heard sounded like an aptitude question but was much more real-life based which was to be identified and answered quickly.

The interview was overall easy though long. It was my very first interview and a successful one.
