ODI World Cup Winner 2023 – Australia

Australia won the ODI world cup 2023 by beating arch rivals India on 19 November 2023. In ODI World Cup 2023, India, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand ended up as top 4 teams.

The first semifinal match was held between India and New Zealand on 15 November, 2023. India won the match by a score of 70 runs making a clear way to the finals. There was a second semifinal match held between South Africa and Australia in Kolkata. Australia won the match by 3 wickets.

The final match was held between India and Australia in Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. India batted and put up a total of 240 runs. Australia then took 43 overs and 4 wickets to knock down the total. Travis Head became the Man of the Match as he scored a total of 137 runs.

Hence, Australia defeated India in the championship to win the 2023 World Cup and lift the trophy for 6th times.
