In January last week of 2023, Cotiviti visited our campus for Analyst Role. There were Three Rounds in Total.

Round 1(Aptitude test)

The test was of complete Aptitude with no technical questions. there are 3 sections, i.e, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English. there were 60 questions in total(I don’t remember exactly) there is a timer for each section and the candidate is proctored via Microsoft teams. questions were of easy to medium level. Around 32 candidates were shortlisted.

Suggestion: Refer to GFG aptitude questions and the general formula sheet used for SSC exams(this helps a lot).

Round 2 (Technical Interview)

After 2 days, Interview was scheduled and it went on for 30 minutes. The interviewer asked me about my passion and hobbies, and interests. it went like casual talk for 10 minutes and he asked about my projects and asked some general questions. Then he asked me about SQL(as I mentioned SQL in my resume)

Questions were:

  • What is the structure of SQL Query?
  • What is DCL?
  • Explain the selected statement and its importance of it.
  • What is a join? explain different joins.
  • He gave me two tables and asked me to join two tables and he asked to fetch particular columns by joining tables.

Those were of easy level and I gave Detailed explanations for all questions.

Then he asked me about python. I told him honestly that I don’t know python. Some of my friends were asked about Guessestimates and puzzles but he did not ask me any of them.

I was not shortlisted for the next rounds.

Round 3(HR):

Suggestions: Practice SQL and Guessestimates. Don’t be discouraged by rejections. Practice well and upskill yourself.
