I recently had the opportunity to interview at Cloud Analogy, which was facilitated through campus placement. The interview process consisted of three rounds:

  • a pen-and-paper coding round.
  • a technical round.
  • and an HR round.

Pen-and-Paper Coding Round:

The first round involved solving four coding questions within an hour without using any inbuilt functions.

  1. The first question was about making a pattern like an hourglass using letters of the alphabet.
  2. The second question involved adding two numbers one by one from right to left and counting how many times we carried over.
  3. The third question was about reversing a sentence, keeping the word order, and adding the length of each word before it.
  4. In the fourth question, we had to change an array by reversing it and changing each number by adding the next one, except for the last one.

Technical Round:

Feeling a bit nervous for my first interview, I sought to calm my nerves by engaging with other candidates. During this round, I was asked to introduce myself, discuss my projects, and delve into object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.

HR Round:

In the final round, I faced questions about my projects, differences between programming languages, and various behavioral inquiries. Although my technical skills were commended, feedback suggested a need to enhance my communication abilities.
