Babu Banarasi Das University Lucknow Campus Experience

As a BBD Lucknow student, my campus experience has been nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped on the campus, I was captivated by the vibrant atmosphere and the many opportunities that awaited me. The experience at this college is so exciting and wonderful. This campus taught me a lot of things from top to bottom. I will never forget my college life.

The campus of Babu Banarasi Das Educational Group is spread across  25 lacs sq. feet. The university provides facilities like a gym, medical clinic, library, boys’ hostel, girls’ hostel, sports, auditorium, cafeteria, IT infrastructure, bank and ATM.

This BBD Group consists of four colleges. They are BBDU(Babu Banarasi Das University), BBDITM(Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Management and Technology), BBDEC(Babu Banarasi Das Engineering College) and the BBDNIIT(Babu Banarasi Das Northern India Institute of Technology).

These three colleges BBDITM, BBDEC, and BBDNIIT are affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

One of the highlights of my campus experience has been the talented community of students, faculty members, and organization. The faculty members, with their wealth of knowledge and their cooperativeness, help us in guiding and mentoring, encouraging our critical thinking, and developing our intellectual curiosity.

As I was admitted in the year 2020, which is the year of covid19 virus. So my experience at my college started with online classes and making friends online via video calls, messages, and phone. At that time I have not interacted with my friends and faculty members. We were doing our regular classes in online mode. However, as time passed, I closely interacted with my faculty members and my friends. After two or three months our college opened for our exams as I was an AKTU student. The AKTU was taking the exams in offline mode, this was difficult for us, but we did it sweetly. After the exam, our next semester started, but that time the virus again affected the whole country and that’s the reason our college was again closed and we again started our classes online mode. And at this, we gave our exams in online mode, which was a great experience at my college. In the second year, I went to college offline, and from that year I started my college life. I participated in various events like singing, quiz, and various events and functions organized in the college. Moreover, the campus provides a safe and inclusive environment for me. My college journey was one of the most beautiful parts of my life.

Placement: The most important thoughts that are on every student’s mind before joining any college are “How the college is good in terms of placements ?” or “How it help students get placed in good companies” and “How to be able to be part of any companies.”

The BBDEG Lucknow is just like other colleges that provide training and internships to the students. They trained every student for the placement by providing training to them in aptitude, and soft skills and also for interview rounds.

Some of the popular companies that offer internships to BBD students in Lucknow include Amazon Wow, TCS, Paytm, SAP, SOTI, Flipkart and many more. These internships are available in various fields of study like engineering, management, humanities, social sciences, and for further studies.

Conclusion: In conclusion, my campus experience at BBDEG has been transformative and informative. I am confident that the knowledge and skills I will gain in college will serve as a solid and good foundation for my future both personally and professionally. And I also say that the things I have learned in my college will also be used for social and economic help.
