Asansol Engineering College Campus Experience

ABOUT:

The Asansol Engineering College or AEC is a private engineering college in Asansol, West Bengal, India. It offers different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Technology and other allied fields.  It was established in 1998 by The Academy of Engineers as a joint venture between the JIS group and the Techno India group.

Infrastructure:

The Facilities of this college are well maintained. When it comes to neatness this college is very neat and is located in a very developed city. The Wifi inside this is good. The Labs are well-maintained with many facilities provided, leaving the students in no position to neglect to attend them. The library of this college is well equipped with tons of books, journals, magazines, and computer rooms where students can learn online documents if they need. The college has its own Hostel with a penalty for students living there. The food quality of the canteen is very amazing. One can expect a lot of different kinds of foods. The medical facility is also good . Having a very big Auditorium is a pride of this college. The College Playground is very large where all kinds of sports are played.

Faculty:

The faculty is Qualified and Amicable. Most of them have their M.TECH or Ph.D. degrees from very big and reputed Institutes of India and Abroad. The Course curriculum is also very good. They are Up to Date with the latest Technologies. This helps you in having your conversations placidly and getting your much “awkward“ doubts cleared easily, in addition to your already Understandable Lectures provided (A boon, again, isn’t it? ). Still in doubt? The Exam question papers are also up to a certain level which will test the thinking ability of such students.

Environments:

The Environment is likely to be an interesting mix of Easy-going people (who genuinely belong to a place like this and feel grateful) and Nerds (who unfortunately ended up here but keep hustling; Remember, the accident I mentioned prior). People here, primarily hail from regions of Bihar, Jharkhand and WB itself.

Events and Societies :

Clubs like NSS, Rotract, Robotics, and GDSC all are much much good. A large number of students get themself in these clubs. A large number of events happen in this college. From tech to Software all kind of Competitions are held here. The IEEE Society is also very good.

Placement:

The Placement record has been good so far and is elevating with the years. Going by the convention, the best placement is bagged by CSE/IT, ECE students, and the core branch students have to liven up to their highest caliber to get placed (Common everywhere! ). Some students get into very big MNCs like Amazon, and Nutanix, with decent packages. One can surely say the placement is very good.
