Scala Long &(x: Byte) method

In Scala, Long is a 64-bit signed integer, which is equivalent to Java’s long primitive type. The &(x: Byte) method is utilized to return the Bitwise AND of the specified Long value and Byte value.
Method Definition – def &(x: Byte)
Returns – Returns Bitwise AND of this value and x.

val result = ( 13 .toLong).&( 2 ^ 3 : Byte)
println(result)
