Python | sympy.is_imaginary method

With the help of sympy.is_imaginary
method, we can check whether element is imaginary or not this method will return the boolean value i.e True or False.
Syntax : sympy.is_imaginary
Return : Return True if imaginary else False.
Example #1 :
In this example we can see that by using sympy.is_imaginary
method, we are able to check the imaginary value and it will return a boolean value.
from sympy import *
gfg = simplify( 2 * I).is_imaginary
print (gfg)
|
Output :
True
Example #2 :
from sympy import *
gfg = simplify( 5 ).is_imaginary
print (gfg)
|
Output :
False
