Underscore.js _.add() Method

The _.add() method returns the sum of all the given arguments.
Syntax:
_.add(val1, val2,..., valn);
Parameters: This method returns n values to operate on them.
Return Value: This method returns the sum of all the given arguments.
Note: This will not work in normal JavaScript because it requires the underscore.js contrib library to be installed. Underscore.js contrib library can be installed using npm install underscore-contrib –save.
Example 1:
Javascript
var _ = require( 'underscore-contrib' );
var sum = _.add( 1, 2, 4, 1 );
console.log( "The Sum is : " , sum);

Output:
The Sum is : 8
Example 2:
Javascript
var _ = require( 'underscore-contrib' );
var sum = _.add( 1 );
console.log( "The Sum is : " , sum);
|
Output:
The Sum is : 1
Example 3:
Javascript
var _ = require( 'underscore-contrib' );
var sum = _.add( 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 99, 100 );
console.log( "The Sum is : " , sum);

Output:
The Sum is : 224
