Hello! I am a computer science enthusiast. In this article I will be sharing my wonderful experience like how to get unacademy educator internship, what is the selection process, results, and so on. Before diving in, I am Shirapti pre-final year CSE student who is passionate about technical writing and development, etc.

How do I apply?

As we know the unacademy is one of the top Ed-tech platforms for competitive exam preparations. I have qualified for Gate 2022 with a decent rank and have a good conceptual understanding of computer science subjects except for TOC and Compiler design. There is an opening that unacademy is hiring for an educator’s intern the notification came and immediately after 2 days team called me to ask to take classes and some requirements and I said Yes I can and I will.

Selection Process

Well here the process is simple, You need to have some teaching experience and you should have passed and get good marks in the exams that you are going to take. In my case, they said to record one video about the course structure or a plan for 200 hours and a short lecture about any simple concepts and so on. You need to have a good resume and the main thing is for exams like Gate you need to be technically strong on the other hand some exams like NEET, and UPSC you need to cover maximum subjects and have depth knowledge. After the video is done using Microsoft PPT upload that video on Youtube and lastly fill out the application form. That’s it.

Onboarding

In this part, you need to attend an orientation session about what to do and what not to do. Some policies and certain things to follow as you need to take live classes and Do’s and Don’t were discussed here. After attending this session attempt one quiz related to the meeting that you have attended and at last sign the contract or an agreement and get the offer letter. That’s it.

What you will get?

  • Strong network and Technical foundation.
  • Good Peers.
  • Stipend.
  • Gifts.
  • Goodies.
  • Teaching and mentoring experience.
