Candidates who are appearing for the Telangana engineering entrance exam have to score more than the qualifying marks to be eligible for admission.

TS EAMCET 2024 Result, Tie-breaking Rule

JNTUH will pre-decide the guidelines to be followed in case one or more candidates hold the same marks as per TS EAMCET result 2024.

The following set of rules are applicable to such candidates:

• Candidates having higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher on merit.
• If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be placed higher in merit.
• If the tie still remains following the above two steps, the candidate with high aggregate marks in their qualifying exam will be placed higher in merit.
• In case none of the above work out, then the candidate older in age will be considered.
