It was inaugurated in 2002 and it is also known as M.G.R. Bus Terminus. It is made worth Rs. 32 crores and it is the largest bus station in Asia. It is spread across an area of 36 acres.

A total of 1,00,000 passengers travel daily via the bus station which has around 500 bus departures within it. 

7. Pandit Nehru Bus Station

Located in Vijayawada, Pandit Nehru bus station is spread across an area of 2 acres. It is famously known as Telugu Satavahana Prayana Pranganam. It is situated in the southern part of the city, next to river Krishna. It is owned by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. It has four blocks which have 60 platforms in total, 48 platforms in departure services and the rest 12 for the arrival terminal. It is the second largest working bus station of Chennai after Mofussil Bus Station.
