A copy of this card was sold at an auction recently, in the year 2020, and currently holds the price of $90,000.

9. No. 2 Trainer

  • Sold to: Awarded to winners of Pokemon world championship in California

Though the number of copies printed are more compared to No.1 Trainer copies, this card is more expensive as it holds more power than No.1 Trainer. These were awarded to the winners of Pokemon world Championship held in California in the year. A copy of this card was sold in an auction at $110,100 in 2021 which is the current price of the card.

8. 1st Edition Neo Genesis Lugia

It is a very rare card which explains its price. Only 10 of these cards were released all around the world. Later these gifted cards were in circulation and were available at the auction for fans to buy them. This card was given a 7 grade by the PSA.

In 2020, a famous Youtuber made it to the headlines of buying a copy of this card for $150,000. Over the years the price of this card has increased to $420,000 and now the bidder is PWCC auctions. Its PSA grading is 10. Earlier to this 120 copies were released but the price is not so high and the PSA grading is also less.

A total of 39 copies were released and only 12 of them are found to be in good condition. When the card was first released it was sold at a price of $74,000 in an auction in late 2016. Over the years the price has increased and Logan Pual is known to break the record of the most expensive card purchased by buying this card at a cost of $5,275,000. A PSA 9 graded version of this card was sold at a price of $1,275,000.
