No. of days he get pocket money = 1 week = 7 days

Total money he gets in 7 days = 7 × 25               {Using table of 25}

                                                 = 175 Rupees

Total money Kabir gets in seven days is 175 Rupees.

Example 2: Simplify using the table of 27, 27 times 9 plus 27 times 3.

Solution: 

By studying the table of 27 we know that,

27 times 9 = 27 × 9 = 243

27 times 3 = 27 × 3 = 81

Now,

27 times 9 plus 27 times 3

= 27 × 9 + 27 × 3

= 243 + 81

= 324

Example 3: Simplify using the table of 28, 28 times 7 minus 28 times 4.

Solution: 

By studying the table of 28 we know that,

28 times 7 = 28 × 7 = 196

28 times 4 = 28 × 4 = 112

Now,

28 times 7 minus 28 times 4

= 28 × 7 – 28 × 4

= 196 – 112

= 84

Example 4: If Anisha earns 19 rupees in a day then how much did he earn in 9 days?

Solution:

Money Anisha earns in a day = 19 Rupees

No. of days Anisha earns money = 9 days

Money earned by Anisha in nine days = 19 × 9

                                                             = 171 Rupees

Thus, Anisha earned 171 rupees in 9 days.
