The SAP EWM solution was created to organize and manage goods storage in warehouses, distribution centers, and logistical centers. Its primary goal is to improve efficiency and performance by automating processes such as receiving and storing goods, replenishing inventory levels, managing inventory, and optimizing space allocation. SAP EWM includes more features and functionalities for managing product life cycles and providing a unified view of all supply chain processes.
What is SAP WM?
SAP WM Module is a warehouse management system created by SAP to plan and execute physical stock management and stock movements in warehouses with shelf management.
The SAP WM module is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) module that handles material flows within the ERP system. It manages inventory and associated costs while also providing real-time data on stock levels, movements, and usage. The SAP WM module assists in inventory cost management by tracking the cost of goods sold across multiple locations of a company. It aids in the consolidation of costs and charges by utilizing location-specific costs or cost allocation rules.
