PyQt5 QDockWidget – Getting Title Bar widget

  • Last Updated : 28 Jul, 2020

In this article we will see how we can get title bar widget of the QDockWidget. QDockWidget provides the concept of dock widgets, also know as tool palettes or utility windows. Dock windows are secondary windows placed in the dock widget area around the central widget in a QMainWindow(original window). Title bar widget is the widget that consist of the title and the options available for it, although we can change this any time with the help of setTitleBarWidget method.

In order to do this we will use titleBarWidget method with the dock widget object.
