JapaneseDate plus(long, TemporalUnit) method in Java

The plus() method of java.time.chrono.JapaneseDate class is used to get the Japanese date after adding an amount of temporal accessor unit with the current Japanese date.

Syntax:

public JapaneseDate plus(long amountToAdd,
                         TemporalUnit unit)

Parameter: This method takes the following argument as a parameter:

  • amountToAdd: which is the amount of temporal unit which is going to be added with the current japanese date.
  • unit: which is the object of temporal unit or chrono unit.

Return Value: This method returns the japanese date after adding an amount of temporal accessor unit with the current japanese date.

Below are the examples to illustrate the plus() method:
