She was born on the island of Themyscira and trained under General Antiope to remove from menial society until they were needed again during World War I when she came out fighting against evil forces with a lasso (her weapon).  

2. Wonder Woman 1984

Though Diana Prince has come into her full power, she hides by curating ancient artifacts while only performing heroic acts incognito; never revealing herself fully. However later, Diana finds herself in a challenging position, fighting against all odds. Diana musters all of her strength, wisdom, and courage as she finds herself squaring off against Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah

3. Man of Steel

This DC movies is sased on the DC Comics character Superman, the film is a reboot of the Superman film series that depicts the character’s origin story. In the film, Clark Kent learns he is Superman and must use his powers to protect Earth from Zod. Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder, produced by Christopher Nolan, and written by David S. Goyer

4. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is the second installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), following 2013’s Man of Steel. In the film, criminal mastermind Lex Luthor manipulates Batman into a preemptive battle with Superman, whom Luthor is obsessed with defeating. Meanwhile in this DC movies, Superman tries to apprehend Luthor for his crimes while struggling to protect humanity from the actions of a very powerful being called Doomsday, which results in massive destruction in Metropolis.

5. Suicide Squad

The 2016 Suicide Squad DC movies tells the story of a team of supervillains who the government recruits to carry out dangerous missions in exchange for commuted sentences. The team comprises Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Boomerang, El Diablo, Enchantress, and Killer Croc. Each member of the team has their own deadly skills and tragic backstory. The group is sent on a mission to track down and stop a powerful magical creature called Incubus. 

6. Justice League

The original event starts two years after Batman Vs Superman and Suicide Squad’s one year, where we get a complete flashback of events that happen thousands of years ago when Steppenwolf a terrible villain tries to take over Earth for his own selfish reason. But his attempts were surpassed by various allies Atlanteans, Olympian Gods, Amazons, and Atlanteans

7. Aquaman

The DC movies tells the story of Arthur Curry (Aquaman), a half-human / half-Atlantean who must find a trident that can control the seven seas in order to stop his half-brother Orm (Ocean Master) from uniting the seven kingdoms of Atlantis and waging war on the surface world.  The film was directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna. 

8. Shazam!

After being chosen by the wizard Shazam to be his successor, teenage orphan Billy Batson gains superpowers which he must use to stop the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana from acquiring the magical Power of Shazam and ruling the world. Shazam! is a 2019 American superhero film based on the DC movies Comics character of the same name. Directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Henry Gayden, the film stars Asher Angel as Billy Batson, a teenage boy who can transform into an adult superhero, played by Zachary Levi.

9. Birds of Prey

The 2020 DC movies Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is Warner Bros production. Pictures production based on the DC Comics team Birds of Prey. The plot follows Birds of Prey member Harley Quinn as she joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya to save Cassandra Cain from Gotham City crime lord Black Mask. It stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, Ella Jay Basco, and Ewan McGregor. 

10. The Suicide Squad (2021)

It is a sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad and the third installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). In The Suicide Squad, Amanda Waller’s task force of imprisoned supervillains is sent on a mission to defeat a powerful entity known as Starro. The film was written and directed by James Gunn and stars an ensemble cast including Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Jon Bernthal, Michael Rooker, Alice Braga, and David Dastmalchian.

DC movies are some of the most highly-anticipated films in recent years. Thanks to the success of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, DC has created a cinematic universe that is darker and grittier than Marvel’s.
