How to Close & Delete Your Venmo Account?

If you decide you no longer want to use Venmo, you can permanently close your account. Before doing so, consider these important points:

• Transfer Your Balance: If you have funds remaining in your Venmo account, transfer them to your bank account before closing.
• Settle Outstanding Transactions: Make sure any pending payments or requests have been resolved before deleting your account.
• Irreversible Action: Once your Venmo account is closed, it cannot be reactivated.

How to Close & Delete Your Venmo Account?

Using Venmo Support:

• Visit the Venmo Help Center (https://help.venmo.com/hc/en-us).
• Search for “Close my account” or a similar query.
• Follow the instructions provided by Venmo support to submit a request to close your account.

Using the Venmo Website:

1. Go to https://venmo.com and log in to your Venmo account.
2. Click on “Settings” in the top navigation bar.
3. Select “Profile” from the settings menu.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the “Close my Venmo Account” option.
5. Follow the prompts and confirm your decision to delete your account.

Using the Venmo App:
