To cancel your SAT scores, follow these steps:

  1. At the Test Center: You can cancel your scores immediately after taking the SAT. Fill out and sign the “Request to Cancel Test Scores” form available at the test center. Submit this form to the test supervisor before leaving the center.
  2. After Leaving the Test Center: If you decide to cancel after leaving the test center, you must submit a score cancellation form. Download and fill out the form from the College Board website.
  3. Submit Form Quickly: The form must be faxed or mailed, and it must reach the College Board no later than 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the Thursday after the test date.
  4. Confirm Cancellation: Keep a copy of your form, and if possible, use a delivery method that confirms receipt, like fax confirmation or certified mail.

Remember, once canceled, scores cannot be reinstated or reported to any colleges.
