2024 Upcoming Games in March

In March, only four games have been confirmed by their respective developers that we will be seeing release. A lot more games will be released and announced by the time March 2024 comes but until then, these are the only games we know for sure that we will be getting in March. Even though March is believed to be a quiet month, with a slow sale day, next to no events, and rare game releases, we will be getting a few new releases.

1. Life By You

Developer: Paradox Tectonic, Paradox Interactive

Release Date: 5th March 2024

Genre: Life Simulation, Strategy Video Game

Life By You was developed by Paradox Tectonic and Paradox Interactive and will be published by Paradox Interactive. The game will be released on 5th March 2024. The game is said to be the most extreme Life simulation and the developers boast that it will be the most moddable and open-world game of all time. In the game, you will be able to do whatever you want and create the life you want to create in the game.

The game will be playable on Microsoft Windows. The game will have no loading screen to ruin your experience. The game will not be using the Sim Language that developers used to use to stop dialogues being repetitive but instead, it will use real-life language so that the game feels real and not automated. We don’t know if the convo will be text-based or dialogues. The future of simulation will be released on 5th March.

2. Unicorn Overlord

Genre: Roleplaying Video Game

Unicorn Overlord is a multiplayer Role-playing Video game that is set on a mythical continent of Fevrith. In the tactical role-play game, players will play as an exiled prince, Alain as he gathers an army from all five Kingdoms in Fevrith to retrieve his kingdom from the evil overlord, General Valmore. The game won’t be available on PC but only on PlayStation 5 and 4, XBox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. This multiplayer tactical roleplayer will be available on these devices from 8th of March in 2024.

3. Princess Peach: Showtime (Switch) – March 22

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

Release Date: 22nd March 2024

Genre: Action, Adventure, Fighting Game

The game will be part of the famous Super Mario Bros Franchise. The game will follow Princess Peach, whose performance is ruined after the Wicked Grape and Sour Bunch take the centre stage in the theatre. It will be the classic side scroller game action adventure just like most Super Mario Bros videogames. It will be available to fans all across the world on Nintendo Switch from 22nd March 2024.

The game will have the same side scroller elements that Super Mario games are famous for and will have better graphics suitable for the new Nintendo Switch device. It will also be the first time since Super Princess Peach which was released in 2005, where Princess Peach will be the main protagonist in a game.

4. Dragon’s Dogma 2

The last game announced for 2024’s March is Dragon Dogma 2. The narrative action roleplay will be a direct sequel to the famous Dragon’s Dogma. The original game was released in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 and an enhanced version of the game titled “Dragon Dogma: Dark Arisen” was released on PlayStation 4, XBox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

It took them a decade and 2 to finally release the much anticipated sequel of the game. And it will be available from 22nd March 2024 as well. The original game was beautifully designed by Kenito Kinoshita, will Dragon’s Dogma 2 have the same design and art style? We will have to wait and see.

Tom Clancy’s Division is a popular video game that is available on Mobile Phones, PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox. It has four parts with the fifth part rumoured to release next year. Now we don’t know the exact date of the game’s release but from looking at the previous parts release date, it is safe to assume we might get Tom Clancy’s Division Resurgence in the second week or third week of March next year. Most of Tom Clancy’s Division games are released in March so it is very well possible the fifth game in the series, Tom Clancy’s Resurgence will also get released in March next year.

6. Skulls and Bones

Platforms: PlayStation 5 XBox Series X and Series S, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna, PC

Not to mistake with the secret society, Skull and Bones, Skulls and Bones is a multiplayer action adventure game with Pirates. The game will have some narrative even though it is multiplayer but the developers have promised the game would not have any linear story that it will follow. What will be the overarching narrative of the game? We do not know yet.

The game has no release date as of today but it is rumoured to release in March of 2024. It will heavily focus on the multiplayer mode of the game. The game has been rated M, for its use of blood and dead corpses, which means the game will no longer be friendly for kids and it would be advised to not let kids play it.

7. Legends of Heroes: Trail through Daybreak

Developers: Nihon Falcom

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch.

Release Date: March 2024 (Expected)

Genre: Role-playing

The game will be released in February of 2024 in Japan but it will be released to Asia and later all of the world in March. But it is yet to be announced on what date the game will be ready for fans to play. The earliest is hoped to be March of 2024. But we will have to wait for an official announcement from the developers or the publishers at NIS America JP, Nihon Falcom Pal and Clouded Leopard Entertainment.
