Later on, the movie follows how these will two push themselves to turn the odds in their favor. In the end, Snow will reveal whether he becomes a songbird or a snake.

‘Hunger Games’ Characters Ranked

10. Coral

Coral is one of the tributes in the Hunger Games 10, hailing from District 10. She can be seen as one of the deadliest tributes playing the game. It is a matter of fact that Coral can form a squad with the help of whom she could easily grab the entire game in her hands and emerge as the last survivor of the Hunger Games with the utmost number of killings. Coral resembles a major share with Cato from the first film itself channeled as being fierce and a favorite.

Coral radiates that superior energy to transcend to any extent to survive and win the game. If it wasn’t for Snow’s biased condition to protect Lucy Gray, Coral would have been destined to survive the game and be ranked as the final combat. Unfortunately, she goes through a painful venomous death.

9. Clemensia Dovecote

Clemensia Dovecote (role played by Ahsley Liao) is a student in the Academy along with Coriolanus Snow. She is a female resident of Capitol and is one of the students who were forced to mentor a tribute. As a part of the mentorship, a male tribute from District 11, Reaper, was assigned to her. She sometimes collaborates with Coriolanus Snow when asked for changes in the tribute system.

She plays a major role at the start of the film when the students are getting trained for their mentorship role. Also, when the game starts, she frequently appears on screen to support Reaper. During one of the scenes in the movie, she becomes the center of attraction, when she tries to take the credit for the work done by Coriolanus Snow, and is forced to place her hand in a pit of snakes.

8. Tigris Snow

Tigris holds being one of the finest characters in the original Hunger Games movies. She happens to be the cousin of Coriolanus Snow and both of them used to stay with their grandmother in the Capitol. Tigris is the significant supporting arm for Snow’s success in his ambition towards settling his family in good conditions, never letting them down or expelled. But Tigris notices the behavioral changes being inculcated by Snow as a part of his aggressive participation in the games. This makes her feel separated from Snow she has known and bonded with since childhood.

Hunter Schafer did a marvelous work by giving tremendous life to a character such as Tigris Snow which is depicted at a minimal rate of framing, adding solid value to the role as it was very much connected with her affection for and towards Snow and the state she lives within. Growth at an early age in Snow’s career made Tigris feel overwhelmed and this makes her character feel more iconic and appreciable.

7. Lucretius Flickerman

Lucretius Flickerman, who is renowned as our beloved Lucky Flickerman, was earlier employed as a weather forecaster for the state, Capitol. Lucky bags an opportunity to become the first foremost host of the Hunger Games. He justifies his opportunity to host in a very cheerful and funny way to be remembered by the upcoming hosts in the future. Lucky uses his charisma to uplift the spirits of games and the audience as well.

To play and fulfill the promising role of Stanley Tucci in the original series was a daunting process but Jason Schwartzman reached the high expectations of being Caesar’s forefather, Lucky. Caesar was a simple yet decently elegant host whereas Lucky introduced dark humor to the stage set and obviously to the film.

6. Casca Highbottom

The Dean of the academy, the persona who owes the credit of enacting Hunger Games is none other than the Casca Highbottom. He was the emblem of the event when first implemented. But Casca was never happy or satisfied with his rush to initiate Hunger Games and was always hoping for them to be detriment sooner.

Casca was first depicted as a character who was always ruthless and never cared about Snow’s purpose of being successful in achieving high standards of urbanization. But the twist explodes showing off his thought processes and high motives about the Hunger games making him seem someone mysterious.

5. Sejanus Pinth

Sejanus Pinth used to reside in District 2 before his father’s huge achievement in the industrializing of weapons. Later on, he becomes a Capitol citizen and also an academy student. Being an unbiased citizen from both the districts Sejanus is highly against Hunger Games and this becomes a turmoil when he has to mentor a friend from District 2 named Marcus. Sejanus pairs up with Snow as they both are anti- riots towards killings happening in the games.

Sejanus is one of the best-carved characters in the whole series, dealing with the duality of both states. The major share of people who migrated to Capitol from District 2 leave their nativity and support. But Sejanus was still a furious antagonist and this act appears eye-feast to watch.

4. Reaper Ash

Reaper Ash is one of the tributes in the Hunter Games and was mentored by Clemensia Dovecote. He was from District 11, which was the residence of Rue. Reaper is a tough guy as make has a lot of thoughts running through his mind. We have very little information about Reaper’s past in District 11 and how he was selected as a tribute. However, Reaper had a deep-rooted hatred of the Capitol, which eventually made him rebellious. This rebellion can be seen in many of his acts.

Reaper seems to be one of the hardest characters in the Hunger Games, however, it is mostly in talk and tactics. As we dig further, he was just a teenager who was forced to be a tribute.

3. Dr. Volumnia Gaul

One of the best instructors at the University, Dr. Volumnia Gaul, can be cited as one of the best characters in The Hunger Games. She is the Head Gamer in the 10th Hunger Games and also played a major role in bringing animal-based weaponry, which can be seen throughout the film. Whoever watches the Hunger Games can sense that she is the one who has a clear idea about the existence of The Hunger Games.

She has an undeniable force, which influenced Snow in many ways, including his ideologies and tactics. Her influence on Snow made him slowly turn towards his darker side.

2. Coriolanus Snow

The juvenile rush of blood yet ranking to be the most sensitive rebel of the entire series, Coriolanus Snow is rocketed with much more importance and understanding pivoting through the whole franchise. The major upliftment in the role arrives when the connection between him and Lucy Gray ascends more than just a Mentor-Tribute relationship. He dares to approach the game in any way to make Lucy survive till the end.

Tom Blyth’s modeling of this role was a significant move for the character display at its best level. The film portrays how even a ruthless player was once an honest, motivated, and ambitious novelty.

1. Lucy Gray Baird

Lucy Gray Baird, the female tribute from District 12, can be seen as the finest character in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. She was under the mentorship of Coriolanus Snow, who eventually fell in love with her. Many of her traits, including her singing, rebellious nature, and star power, made her stand out from the rest.

Lucy can be seen as the original predecessor of Katniss. With her character development, which came from the hard road of battles, made her an excellent star in the Hunger Games.
