Accenture Interview Experience (On-Campus)

I am sharing my interview experience of Accenture. It was an on-campus placement. Accenture comes two offers:

  1. Associate Software Engineer
  2. Advanced Associate Software Engineer

Hiring process for both rounds are same. If a candidate reaches to final round and clears it, then based on his performance in all rounds, he is offered the suitable role. The hiring process includes four stages:



  1. Cognitive Assessment and Technical Assessment
  2. Coding Assessment
  3. Communication Assessment
  4. Interview

1. Cognitive Assessment and Technical Assessment

This round was 90 minutes long. The questions were asked from the following topics:

  1. Aptitude: Logical reasoning, Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, etc.
  2. Pseudo code: These are some output based questions in which the candidate is expected to dry run and find out the correct answer by tracing the values of variables.
  3. CS fundamentals: Questions were asked from Operating system, DBMS, etc.

2. Coding Assessment

After clearing the first round, the nest one was coding assessment. It was 45 minutes long. Two questions were asked. First question was easy and second one was of medium level. One of the questions which I remember was:



Implement a function that accepts an integer array ‘a’ of size ‘m’. Replace each number of array with nearest smaller number on its right in the array.

3. Communication Assessment

The next round was communication assessment. The duration was about 30 minutes. The purpose of this round was to test the communication skills of the candidate. It tests speaking and listening skills. During the assessment, you must be visible in the camera and are not permitted to take any break. You are expected to dictate the sentences given on you computer screen and answer some questions.

4. Interview

The last round was interview. It was 20-25 minutes long. The questions asked were mostly HR. Very less number of technical questions were asked. Some of the questions were as follows:
