An interconnection of multiple devices, also known as hosts, that are connected using multiple paths for the purpose of sending/receiving data or media. Dialup connection:
In dialup connection, the services connect to the internet through a phone line connection. It is established between two or more communication devices in which it uses Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) to connect to the internet. It has a data transfer rate (DTR) up to 56kbps.
Advantages of Dial-up Connection:

Broadband:
It is a high-speed connection that allows using the telephone and internet simultaneously. In this, the data can be transferred in various forms via cable, satellite, and telephone.
Advantages of Broadband Connection:
- It has a higher speed which is used for downloading large-size files, videos, games, and music.
- It is faster than dialup connection.
- It is more reliable than dialup connection.
- It has no interruptions while using the internet.
Disadvantages of Broadband Connection:
- It is more expensive.
- It has security threats and issues.
- It is not available in remote and rural areas.
