1) What are the eligibility criteria for becoming a beneficiary under PMUY?

Ans: Women candidates in the family are eligible for the scheme, the applicant woman must be above 18 years of age, the family must be listed below the Poverty Line in the Socio-Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011 and the applicant woman should not enroll in such a similar scheme sponsored by the Central or State Governments.

Most people are not willing to pay Rs 900-1000 in advance for a 14 kg cylinder to refill. The latest survey reveals that the number of inactive accounts is increasing day by day.



5) What is PM Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 scheme and the main objective to launch this scheme?

Ans: The latest version of the scheme is PM Ujjwala Yojana 2. O was launched on 10 August 2021 on the occasion of World Biofuel Day. The main objective to lunch this 2. O scheme is to give an advantage to the migrants who live in different states and who have difficulties submitting address verification. The scheme has an additional target is 10 million LPG connections to women who are below the poverty line. Another objective is to provide pipeline gas to 21 lakh households in 50 districts in the coming days.
