What is Samarth Scheme?
The Government of India launched the “SAMARTH” project in 2017 to equip workers and young with the skills necessary to produce more advanced and superior textile goods for the industry. They receive training through this programme, and they can either apply their gained abilities on their own or work in the textile industry. This programme aims to increase the number of skilled workers in the nation. In 2017, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) gave its approval.
