Hello Everyone, I am currently pursuing my B.Tech from Rustam ji Institute of Technology in Computer Science of Engineering. This college is situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Joining a club in college can be an exciting opportunity to explore interests and develop new skills. My journey into the Robotics Club at RJIT was nothing short of exhilarating and filled with valuable experiences.
My Memorable Club Interview Experience at RJIT
The Robotics Club at RJIT holds a prestigious position, being one of the oldest and most esteemed clubs on campus. Their endeavors in robotics and machine learning have garnered recognition, with representations at various fests including prestigious events like Robowars at IIT Bombay.
My interview for the Robotics Club was conducted offline, with a panel of fourth-year seniors who were already active members. Their experience and expertise in the club made the interview process insightful yet comfortable. The questions posed were fundamental, focusing on topics like basic Arduino programming and concepts related to robotics and machines. As a computer science student, I expressed my interest in joining the coding department of the club, which involved tasks like Arduino coding and other programming aspects. The interview, conducted entirely in English, lasted for about 15-20 minutes, during which I felt encouraged to showcase my enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
I was thrilled to receive the news of my selection into the Robotics Club. It was a moment of pride and joy, knowing that I would be part of such a distinguished organization. However, despite my eagerness to contribute, I had to make a difficult decision. RJIT’s rules stipulate that students can only be members of one club at a time. Since I had already been selected to join the RJIT Geeks Club, I had to bid farewell to the Robotics Club after just 15 days of joining. It was a bittersweet moment, as those initial days had been incredibly enriching and filled with learning opportunities. Although my journey with the Robotics Club was short-lived, the experience left a lasting impression on me. It taught me the value of seizing opportunities, pursuing passions, and embracing new challenges. The friendships formed and lessons learned during those brief but impactful days continue to shape my academic and personal growth.
