This campus drive was held by our Training and Placement Cell for Sister Nivedita University. This was an online procedure fully and no officials physically visited our campus for interviews instead everything was done in online mode.
Round 1 :
- The first round was an online assessment round. The questions were basically asked from Quantitative Aptitude which covers topics like AP, GP, Quadratic Equations, Series-based questions, Profit & Loss, Mixtures, and so on.
- The questions asked were of a moderate level not very hard or time-consuming. The assessment lasted for around 1 hour.
- Those who cleared the first round were sent a mail within 1-2 days for taking the next round.
Suggestions: Try practising as many quants as possible from GeeksforGeeks, etc.
Round 2 :
- This was also an online assessment round. The questions here are basically from the English language, comprehension-based, synonyms, antonyms, para jumbles, etc.
- There was also a section for English communication. In this section, you need to see on the screen what English line was blinking, then after it is gone you need to speak what passage you have seen in a clear voice and loudly.
- For some students, this round goes very tough as they were not well prepared with the English language and also their English communication was not so good.
Suggestions: Try practising Verbal ability from websites like GeeksforGeeks, etc. Also, try practising English communication so that your communication skills are also improved.
Round 3 :
- Those who clear the 2nd round were sent an online coding assessment round link within 1-2 hours.
- There were 2 coding questions which were moderate to hard level(as it seemed to me) . They were story-based questions and you are not directly asked to do whatever is given, you need to figure out be understanding what to do there.
- Then there were some MCQs related to programming languages. The coding questions were basically from arrays, strings, queues, stacks, mathematical types, etc.
Suggestions: Try practising questions from websites like GeeksforGeeks on topics like arrays, strings, bit manipulation, logic building on them, trees, stacks, queues, etc.
Round 4 :
- Those who clear the above round were selected for Technical Interview round. The technical interview round was divided into many time slots for the entire 2 days.
- The interviewer was very friendly and he asked questions about the topics which I have mentioned in my resume. Also, the interviewer asked about the projects which I have mentioned in my resume, how I have made them, what challenges faced in making them, etc.
- I was also asked questions on the topics like OOPS, Java, Data Structures and Algorithms, Javascript etc. which I have mentioned in my resume.
Suggestions: Never write the things which you don’t know in your resume, because the interviewer is able to find out by your answers that you have really learn that not. Don’t speak wrong answers, if you don’t know then directly say it.
Round 5 :
- 1. Those who cleared the technical interview round were selected for the final round which was the HR round .
- 2. My HR was very friendly to me and he asked me general HR questions like Introducing yourself, where you see yourself in 5 years, etc.
- 3. They ask questions in order to know you better, how are you as a person, whether you are able to work in the company’s environment or not and so on.
Suggestions: My suggestion to students is that don’t speak lie to them about yourself. Try to be confident in whatever you are speaking and practise English communication beforehand so that you will not fall short of words at that time. Lastly, don’t be nervous.
